Leaving his father's apartment, he heads to the city's document office to make the change official. Fighting his way through nonsensical procedures, he finds himself deep in the maw of the office basements, wandering a labyrinth of dusty corridors where every door conceals horrors both impossible and disturbingly familiar.

And maybe the change that awaits him is even worse than the past he's trying to escape.
