A mind illuminating volume

Some books are so full of ideas and some sentences say more than volumes. This book fits both accounts. This "Reader in Quotations" contains hundreds of illuminating ideas about the mind and its properties of malleability. The mind can be formed and fashioned into whatever we can imagine, and unfortunately, many unenlightened people are aware of this idea too, and force the mind into all sorts of contortions. This book brings together ideas across the spectrum from education to brain-washing; from internal or self-control to external propaganda and indoctrination; from writing and reading to outright deception in mass media. If you would like to know better how your own mind works and how others many times subvert your own sovereignty to think as you would, get this book and study it. It makes a wonderful reference book and the last section has some of the most beautiful ideas I've ever seen collected together on the Soul, creativity, dreams, conversion and transformation. Some books have one or two strong ideas that an author fleshes out to make a 200 page book. Frank takes enough ideas for a hundred books and brings them under one cover. It took me quite awhile to finish this book because the ideas caused so much personal reflection and inner development that I had to write hundreds of pages of things I was learning from its pages. I feel confident to say that just one page of this book, thoughtfully pondered, could cause a change in one's life. Change comes from new ideas that leave us larger than we were before they visited us. This is the kind of book the thoughtful reader has been waiting to get a hold of.
