slightly dated, but amazingly helpful

This book was written over 20 years ago so some of the things that McLachlan suggests are dated, however the ideas and concepts have helped me enormously. She uses anecdotal stories involving her family and friends which makes it a joy to read. Her children seem wonderful. I wish that the author would write an updated version because she seems amazing!!!!!
