Avamir and her clan move up the ranks, and are now considered a senior clan among the angels, known for their high success on their missions. But the more missions they go on, the worse the clan's luck is. Avamir hardly ever finds time to rest, and it affects how well she fights in battle, and how well she can keep her demon under control. After struggling to keep her demon down, keep her clan safe, and now facing failure on one of their missions, Avamir has a hard time seeing how she can protect anyone, even from herself. As things seem to grow darker, a stranger comes to her and he brings with him promises for a brighter future. Avamir puts her trust in his hands - but it almost becomes her downfall.
