Indoorsman: My place to dwell.

I feel that it's best to be comfortable in a nice dwelling while you dwell upon things that don't really matter.

This new book is sort of a continuation of "...Unquote", my third book. Considered mostly books of general humor, not necessarily joke books, I can see similarities between my observations, stories and anecdotes and those of comedy writers for stand-up, sitcoms and the funny papers or cartoons.

For many years I have told people, "I'm an indoor cat." I hate the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. Central heating and air conditioning are my life support systems. Thus, the generalized theme of this book's title.

Living with this preference tends to force me to entertain ideas and run them past my selves even when I'm engaged in activities that require little thought.

I don't have multiple personalities, but I do have multiple rooms in which different themes come to mind. Even the car is one of these "rooms". No, I don't sit in the car while it is just sitting in the garage. For example, the front window may spark thoughts that the back patio door does not. Driving the car can be an overload of inspiration.
