Indigenous Transculturality in the Warao Ethnic Group

The Warao ethnic group presents new cultural patterns as a result of the changes that have occurred between the adaptation of typical customs from other cosmic spheres, intermingled with their own customs that have been brought from their historical context in time and space, incorporating new techniques, customs and values in their ways of life, through contact with the Creoles. The importance of this theoretical and educational approach to indigenous transculturality in the Warao ethnic group lies in its social, communitarian and theoretical relevance. As well as in the wide documentary review that is deployed in order to contribute epistemological elements from the theoretical point of view, thus specifying the epistemological framework of educational transculturality. On the axiological level, we try to reflect on the transcendental value and respect for the cultural diversity of the Warao as a social group. On the other hand, from the ontological point of view, it is based on the essence of the Warao and its ancestral culture, and in the gnoseological dimension, we have the threshold of knowledge that takes as a reference the indigenous transculturality and its transcendence in the cultural heritage.
