Several severity scores have been established for patients with bronchial dilatation (BDD). Our aim is to compare the BSI and FACED scores, and to propose a new score better suited to our population. One hundred and ten cases of DDB were collected. The mean age was 60 years. Chest CT showed a predominance of cylindrical forms (75%). Obstructive ventilatory disorder was present in 45% of cases. The etiologies of DDB were mainly infectious, including tuberculosis (19%). Mortality in our population was 20.6%. Independent risk factors for mortality were medium-to-high socioeconomic status and number of comorbidities. The BSI score was the best predictor of mortality in our population. However, none of the scores predicted exacerbations. The SGRQ reflects quality of life, with a significant relationship with the HAD scale, the number of exacerbations and hospitalizations.
