I am known in the art community as Paul D. Wilbur. I am a fine arts photographer specializing in dark landscapes. My work represents my personal vision as viewed with my unique background living with depression and bipolar. When I view my subjects I look at the darks and lights, lines and movements in the subjects. When I view an image I am about to take, I ask m self, Have I seen this image before, and would I like this on a wall. If the answer is yes, I take it. I like my images to say something more than any others. If the viewer doesn't explore my work or just walks away, I have failed as an artist.
