SAVORING THE INDELIBLE FOOTPRINTSNothing is more painful to an artist than returning from a creative flight to discover that you couldn't find the right color to paint what you saw while you were in the wood. Or after you have stretch words in a poetic flight and discover that words are lost when you returned.That was the dilemma I had while writing the INDELIBLE FOOTPRINTS.From my days in the village where I was born I know I had writing in my bones, but having passed through pains and circumstances hold down the treasures from finding full expressions.But how long do I have to wait for things to get better before I start to express on paper what's a causing pain in my heart. As you can see in most of the poem, I have deliberately employed the plan style so that I can enjoy the poem my self. I have used words to express my feelings in my own form, style, setting, meter, rhythm even in the arrangement.And I have no apology to C.S. Lewis because for him "all plain style except the very greatest raises a troublesome question for the critic" Poetic critics and cynic please you.This book is my own experiential work and I think as you read and think through the verses, you may find some of the pieces that catch your fancy.In case you find some part you like, please read it loud and enjoy yourself.
