Six hundred years before...
Alanzo and Carmen, after being separated for years, are relearning how to live in the world after surviving horrific atrocities. After their many attempts of rejoining their families in Italy, they are exiled by their village for the choices they made in survival. Wanting to move on and heal, Alanzo decides they'll find their own safe haven and will search for their perfect home no matter what it takes.
During the long and strenuous journey, they encounter dangerous beings, harsh weather, and moments of vulnerability to admit fears, their pasts, and their hope for a future. Their love never faltered while apart, but it's not always easy remaining in love with someone who is no longer who you once knew.
Will they find the home they've been searching for? And will they learn how to love and trust themselves again?

This is a standalone novella outside of the main Paranormal Mafia Series, "Mafia, Murder, and Mayhem" that can be read on its own.
It is a closed-door romance and paranormal historical fantasy.
