Wandsworth is a modest town but turns into a place of hullabaloo owing to migration and influx of foreign nationals into it. This used to be a quiet atmosphere but changes with time. There is one shinning star that casts hope on the town and gives it a breadth of fresh air. This star is the boy called Tom. He is unarguably incredible though of mixed race with white mother, black father and has younger brother Peter. Tom excels in all walks of endeavour but music is his soft spot. There are some other interesting characters to make it a good fun story. The spider that tells Tom's future, the swan that leaves water and the ghostly natures are all part of the story.
