The low mass dark matter is, as yet, a fascinating and little explored field of studies which has the potential to shed light on one of the biggest misteries of our Universe. In this work the CRESST-III cryogenic dark matter search is presented and a novel data processing technique developed. Such processing is meant to fully exploit the unprecedented sensitivity of the CRESST-III installation in the Gran Sasso Underground Laboratories
