Recomend to everyone

Could not put this book down once I started reading. Great for any teacher or parent with a child with autism. It gives concrete ideas how to help the student learn and practice social skills and be truly included in the classroom with typical peers. Shared it with school's ESE specialist, autism coach, cluster teacher and Gen Ed teacher yesterday. Next week will already start to put the "friendship club" into practice! If you want your child to be more than just a visitor in gen ed, this book is a must buy.

Very informative

This book started out with excellent tips that concern the success of any inclusion project. I plan on using the suggested games and activities soon.

A book that is a must for all elementary school teachers

Autism is rapidly growing across the US. Odds are if you don't have an autistic child in your class, you will soon. If you buy one book about autism this is the one to help you - the educator - integrate autistic children in your classroom without changing everything you do! The book is an easy read with practical advice for tomorrows school day. Take the time to read this important book. And special thanks from a mom of an autistic boy! (I buy this book for everyone of Jeff's teachers!)
