This analysis was carried out at the Francisco Lopes Braga State School and the Pestalozzi Association in Coari. The main sources of research were authors Maria Tereza Egl r Montoan and Marta Gil, who contributed significantly to clarifying the factors related to these children's absences from regular education. This work also highlights the importance of education in the social, political, and cultural context in the lives of people with visual impairments, prioritising the family, education professionals, the community, and everyone who is necessary for the child's proper psychological, cognitive, and motor development. It is qualitative in nature and achieved its objectives through the means and techniques used. The results of the research showed us, in a precise manner, the difficulties that people with visual impairments encounter in being 'included' in society, especially in the educational context, where they face various problems.
