Smoothly written and cleverly crafted

Bob Martin's life is spinning out of control from a disastrously crippling love affair. A 37 year old, University of Chicago history professor, Bob receives notification that a quantity of papers have been discovered in the repair of an Italian Palazzo and seem to be in the hand and style of Adalberto Colangio (the subject of Bob's .award-winning historical biography). The papers seem to be about a strange power of love, a kind of magical spell casting that has the power to heal love's damages in Bob's life -- but as with anything to do with magic, their is a price to be paid. Highly recommended reading, Incantation is smoothly written and cleverly crafted providing the reader with one of those "can't put it down" reading experiences to be treasured.
