Around the end of the 19th century in the Southeast of Morocco, Assou, the shepherd of the village - a boy of seventeen years old - came home to find the village in a state of post-massacre. The entire village was upside down. Assou's parents and most of the clan were slaughtered. His sister and the village kids disappeared. Assou embarks on a mission: a journey to rescue his sister and the other kids. He has to leave behind the art of shepherding and learn the art of war. It is a solitary journey about hope and despair. A journey about dreams and nightmares. A journey about life and death.
