Fun and informative

Contains informative and interesting basic information on a variety of sea life. For example, "Shrimps don't have skeletons. Their bodies have a covering of tough chitin. As they grow, shrimps molt. They lose their old skin and grow new skin." Chapters cover: jellyfish, starfish, mantis shrimps, fiddler crabs, octopuses, sea horses, Dalmatian pelicans, sea otters, and seals. Before each chapter is a close up photograph with a question, like "Who owns these whiskers?" There is a very good glossary and index. Word in the glossary are in bold font.
