Still haunted by the memory of finding a body in his tack room at a horse show in Albuquerque, Arabian horse trainer Kit Post arrives at Estes Park, Colorado, for another show on the circuit. However, before he can enjoy showing in the beauty of the Colorado Rockies, Kit finds himself in the midst of bizarre accidents. After seeing his circle of friends affected, Kit concludes that the accidents are being caused by someone trying to hurt him, personally. As the incidents continue to occur, Kit and his friends strive to find the culprit in an escalating tide of events before someone gets killed, not the least of whom could be Kit, himself.This is a mystery set in the horse show world, similar to how Dick Francis set his mysteries in the horse racing world.
