Excellent!

The author is an amazing story teller... and boy she has a story to tell!! She describes her life's true story between the USA and Lebanon and through the pages of this book we travel to these places as well as England and France in the 1960s and end up in Lebanon for the entire 17 year civil war and can feel the suffering that the people of Lebanon endured during that time. I learned so much about what was happening back then. This is an excellent book! You will not want to put it down. Excellent!

An Awesome book. I've read it three times

I highly recommend this book, especially for people who are going through difficult circumstances. This author's true story will uplift you. It's also a great way to get a new perspective on the culture of the Middle East and gain a better understanding of the historic events that surround this country called Lebanon, especially during their recent civil war. Its such an exciting and inspiring book that you won't want to put it down until you've read it all.
