A truly wonderful book for children.

In the Days of the Dinosaurs is an excellent first book for achild. This book contains many facts about the world as it wasmillions of years ago and about the dinosaurs that roamed that world. Roy C. Andrews writes this book in a style that is very accessible to small children and in a way that also manages to spark the imagination. When dinosaurs are described they are compared to objects that a small child can understand and see in their daily lives. There are pictures on pretty much every page, definitions, and even a small quiz on the back of the book. This was the first book that I owned and read as a child. I have had this book for nearly 30 years. With its yellow and ripped pages, crayon marks, and torn binding it remains the one book that I will never forget and will never give away. This book fueled my young imagination and even created a few nightmares. In the Days of the Dinosaurs is the book that I give credit for starting me in a lifelong enjoyment of books. I can not praise this book enough.
