This is an excellent book unfairly maligned by one person masquerading as two. The two negative reviews clearly come from one mind. I have been a writer, editor, literary agent, and publisher for over thirty five years. I sold IN THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT to the most influential and respected editor/publisher of this genre. We agreed on the quality of the read, the writing, and the value of the work.This manuscript sold faster than any other title I have represented in over ten years as a literary agent. High quality writing was one reason. M. Sanders delivers the goods. I see a hundred submissions for every one I choose to represent. IN THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT was the cream in this catagory.It gets no less than 5 stars.

Deliciously Sensual

"In the Darkness of the Night" is perhaps the most suiting title for a book that (with good publicity) could become one of our national best-sellers. Sanders writes with ease and confidence. She invites her reader to relive the life of an emotionally injured woman who endures pain by embracing it closer. Marjorie's sexuality and exploratory desire for submission take her into a deep and seductive world of false relationships. Throughout the book, Marjorie examines many dangerous paths that most women would never dare to walk comfortably. She is entangled in a web of confusing and emotionally unstable relationships. Marjorie's journey into and out of the darkness is deliciously descriptive. I really enjoyed reading this book on a flight from New York to Los Angeles. I highly recommend this book to those who love hot chocolate and strawberries.

WOW What a sexy read!

Whew! This book will make you weak in the knees. Marjorie's divorce was the earthquake event that shook the cork out of the bottle. You can find a lot of things when you're looking for love.Marjorie's way of learning and exploring the world is through sex. Mastering her own sexual nature leads her to important realizations in life. We hire movie actors and book characters to explore our dark feelings and base fantasies so we never have to go there ourselves. I confess at times I felt a bit like Julian. You will understand what I mean when you read the book.I'm waiting for the sequel.
