In Search of The Three-Legged Clown Dog is a fiction book about my grandchildren in search of a dog named Charlie The Three-Legged Clown Dog. The book takes place in the beautiful mountains in Northern Georgia around the town of Blue Ridge. From the Above the Clouds rental cabin that is rented usually around the fourth of July the adventure begins to take place on this summer's vacation. Papa John who has been passed for a while is remembered by his grandchildren and the many stories he has told and especially the one about the three-legged clown dog named Charlie. It was called a clown dog because it had white markings on its brown face that resembled the white face on a clown. Mekenzie, one of the grandchildren sees the dog on a train ride and is determined to find this dog. Rumor has it that a three-legged dog lives in the mountains above Blue Ridge and occasionally comes down to the town to get food. Sights of the dog have been made by years. Some claim they leave food and water out for it but they have never actually seen it. Towards the end the book it will have you crying however, it has a happy ending. Young and old will love this book. It will take you back to a summer time in your life when each day just being young was a great adventure.
