In Search of the Sun

Life is wonderful, but it is not easy. Many times, I ask myself what its true meaning is. I have always believed that we arrive in this world and leave it alone and naked. That is to say, with nothing. Neither the money nor the power we may have accumulated has any value in the end, because we depart without them. So then, what is truly important? For me, the answer is clear: family, friends, and a passion for what we do.

When the question of life's "why" arises, I try to let it go. I don't have a definitive answer. In those moments, I prefer to think that, even without knowing the ultimate meaning of existence, what truly matters is to be well, to enjoy what we do, to look toward the future, to have goals, and above all to reflect on the legacy we can leave behind. Perhaps that is why education, both undergraduate and postgraduate, became my true passion. I am convinced that education is one of the most powerful values for improving the quality of life and advancing toward equality, a goal still far from being achieved.
