The first book to address the coming revolution in photography, reissued for a contemporary audience. Twenty years ago, before the era of digital cameras, cell phones and the internet, Fred Ritchin... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was in a class taught by Ritchin, and we discussed this book in class. His ideas of how digital alteration would change the world were for the most part, spot on.Additionally his newer ideas on the subject were excellent. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in the subject.
A fascinating survey of photographers and photography.
