Big disappointment!

Very disappointed in, In Odd We Trust! I did not realize when I purchased it that it was in comic book form! Very upset!!

Here,s another Example of a Comic Book and not a Novel Book. Did it state that wen I purchased it, NO!

Great little book!

I really liked this book! Yes, I guess it's technically a "comic book," but it was still a good story! Just because someone didn't notice that it said "graphic novel" shouldn't be a reason to give this a negative rating. I enjoyed the story and the illustrator's idea of what Odd may look like. I hope Mr. Koontz does more things like this! It was a great, short read and gave me my "Oddie Fix" for a while!

In Odd We Trust

I absolutely love the Odd Thomas series. This book is written like a comic book and was a fun read. I'd recommend the Odd series to anyone that wants to try something out of the ordinary.

Odd Comix

A cute publication but doesn't really go anywhere. Being a big fan of Dean Koontz I was disappointed. The Odd Thomas series of books have been great, but not the comic-strip!

More fun Odd!

First I think it's really shameful that people are leaving 1 and 2 star reviews because they made the mistake of not realizing this was a graphic novel. You made the mistake. This is a fun prequel to the Odd series. It's great to see visuals of Odd and Stormy. If seeing Elvis in the back seat while Odd drives doesn't put a smile on your face then you aren't a true Odd fan. :) It's not as deep or horrific as the other Odd novels, but it's just a really fun glimpse into the further adventures of the lovable Odd. I really loved to see Koonts delve into the comic genre in this format. Boom! studio is currently putting out a Frankenstein comic based on the 1st book for those of you who aren't turned off by pictures with your words. I really hope he does more in this "manga" style. I think it really works for his type of stories.

A Fun Addition to the Odd Thomas Collection

Odd Thomas is just your average nineteen-year-old. That is if by average you mean someone who can see the lingering dead. By trade Odd is a fry cook in his hometown, Pico Mundo. After seeing a new spirit in the form of a young boy, Odd begins to sense foul play. It seems that a child killer is on the loose, and this boy is his latest victim. When one of Odd's friends finds herself in the middle of the case, Odd and his girlfriend Stormy decided to do some snooping around. What they discover is far more dangerous then they could have imagined. If fell in love with the Odd Thomas character through the four Koontz novels dedicated to the beloved fry cook. When I heard there were plans for an Odd Thomas graphic novel, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. In Odd We Trust is a new Odd Thomas story that actually serves as a prequel to the original novel. As always, Koontz's storytelling is second to none and thankfully we don't lose any of the charm and humility of Odd's character in the graphic novel format. This new story is a fun addition to the Odd Thomas canon, and it was a bittersweet experience to have Stormy back for a while. Australia magna artist Queenie Chan also brings her masterful skill to the table. Her portrayal of Odd and company really fits the story and gives us another delightful dimension of the Odd one. This is a must read for Odd Thomas fans and another wonderful addition to Dean Koontz's stellar body of work.
