I bought this book because I saw a bit of hype for it online, I liked the concept of the reader being involved with the story, and liked the videos the author made on TikTok, but it was falsely advertised. The first half had me hooked and attached, giggling and kicking my feet, the whole deal. I thought I was going to absolutely love it, but the second half felt like betrayal. It's well written and I'm sure there are plenty of people who will argue the characters got a happy ending, but the reader as a character in the story got a bad ending with nothing to help heal the wound. I would not recommend this book, I maybe even would go out of my way to discourage reading it because it's just that heartbreaking.
