I'll be more careful before I give my heart away again."" Emma was smiling inside, and she couldn't stop herself from saying, ""There's a wonderful movie playing tonight at the Marston Theatre, Caleb. An Affair to Remember. Why don't we go together and try to get your mind off that girl?"" ""He fell for one girl who wore an engagement ring, Emma. I doubt he'll make the same mistake twice,"" Edith remarked. ""I can remedy that problem quickly,"" Emma said as she slipped the ring off her finger and slapped it on the table. ""Put the ring back on, Emma,"" Edith said. ""Caleb is not ready for another disappointment.""
