book ii of the in the in-between trilogy
This is where it deepens-
in the silence after the voice,
in the space between what was said
and what remains unsaid.
in grey is a collection of blank verse-
subtle, haunted, and deliberate.
A quiet descent into the places
we try not to look.
A meditation on distance, shadow,
and the soft weight of uncertainty.
These are fragments
written in the aftermath-
through the blur of memory,
through moments that felt
both endless and fleeting.
Not linear.
Not explained.
But lingering in the stillness
between clarity and confusion,
hope and surrender,
presence and absence.
Where in white began with awakening,
in grey drifts further inward-
to the quiet middle,
where stories end in the pause,
and meaning hides between the lines.
These are verses shaped by silence,
restless but restrained.
They do not seek conclusion-
only to exist in the balance
between what fades
and what remains.
This is not a continuation.
It is a passage through shadow.
A moment of suspension
in the slow turn toward what's next.
Welcome to the grey.
