Paying Tribute

I have given this book often as a gift to people who have faced the death of someone they love. Funeral homes welcome the display of this type of book but I also know families who have circulated it among their relatives and friends, capturing stories, details, memories on the welcoming pages. It becomes a personal, treasured keepsake. The quotes at the bottom of the pages can act as prompts to the writer and bring comfort to the family. The book's cover is pretty and the message is one of hope. It is a loving gesture to bring a casserole to someone who needs support but I find this book to be a better, tangible reminder of my care and concern; one that can be revisited whenever the mood strikes. I think this book is destined to be the gift of choice for a family whose loved one has died.

A Tribute Journal - Expressions from the Heart

It was quite evident to me, upon completing the Tribute Journal, that Trici Brennan Zuba was a woman who was loved very, very much. I'm certain she would haven been deeply touched receiving such a warm and loving tribute from Lynne McCollum Staley and her husband, Tom Zuba expressed in such a beautiful and caring way. I listed A Tribute Journal to be expressions from the heart because the care of every detail of this book from the cover through each and every page was so evident. After losing my spouse to a sudden death, I would have greatly appreciated having such a journal at my husband's wake. It was amazing that Tom Zuba had such foresight providing blank journals at his wife's wake in light of the untimely death of his wife. I have already given two of the Tribute Journals as gifts. Each recipient was deeply touched and found it to be a wonderful idea. The Tribute Journal is such a beautiful tool to provide healing through sharing thoughts with others by sharing one's expressions from the heart. Thank you for creating this journal. It was definitely a labor of love.
