This book contains poems written with words that everyone can understand and relate to. These writings have evolved from my fascination with words in poetry and music, especially ones that rhyme. Words have the ability to move the spirit or touch the soul. They can fill or empty the heart of all the emotions humans can experience. My efforts were to convey feelings every person has experienced in plain English. I believe that the expression of human emotion is of the utmost importance. The Hidden Life

I am sorry that I left you standing there,

With your tears of sadness and care,

Because I did not know from the very start,

About the hidden life within a woman's heart.

As I linger in the land of sleep before I awaken,

Lost in the darkness of the night,

I wonder which direction I should have taken,

But I still remain unsure if I was right.
