Tea is a wonderful leaf beverage. Many enthusiastic men spent their valuable time and energy to find out appropriate practices to tame the wild plant to a productive healthy bush with vigor for a nice vegetative growth for two and a bud. I have searched out the findings of many renown scientists for more than hundred years. I took help from the previous research and tried to add my observation studies and experiences in this book, which may help opening the ways for rapid and successful increase in tea output in this region to meet the export demands in the 21st century. Nevertheless, health and vigor of the shoots for present production and future increment of yield and sustainability are the key factors for the tea crop. Therefore, logical decision, proper method and judicial appliance of the field practices can only assure the target. This book will help to take appropriate decision by the planters and the researchers.
