Imprints: Mankind's Impression on History

"Imprints" is a tribute to those who tried to make our lives 'Sublime' at best and bashful at worst. More than five thousand years of civilization are indebted to the most towering figures, and the events that resulted from the omissions and commissions of mankind.

Though some tragic and some beautiful, all of them have left their imprints on the terrain of time, always leading to one another step in civilization, and one step further into the void of time.

Some generous, some villainous, all are inseparable from the existence of homo sapiens. Good cannot be distinguished without the presence of evil, likewise a goblet of nectar cannot be comprehended without a vial of poison. Their actions and reactions make life what it is.

Time has thus given us our most important artifact: destiny. Time and Destiny both never look back. Therefore, these imprints become the hallmark of our civilization and lead mankind into an unknown future.

Therefore, a wise man is one who likes his lamp, without making a fuss of the dark.
