The book begins with an impressive story about the actor Sophia Holliday, plucked from obscurity and immortalized by the great Marina Tsvetaeva ("Tale of Sonechka"). In the essay "Gabriela Mistral" Luba Kachan actually opens the great Chilean poet for the Russian readers. The diary entries, placed in the book, tell of encounters with the beautiful. She writes about Alfred Schnittke concertos, the operas at the Mariinsky theatre, the new theatrical productions. About the Museum of Anna Akhmatova, by V. A. Bilichenko, and exhibition of Vadim Sidur. About the movies and about the museums visited in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Her stories about trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg are largely exactly about that. The book is exciting from the first pages and leaves no one indifferent. Her third book "Impressions" is preparing to publish and we are waiting for it with understandable impatience.
