Not her best.

This book repeated itself. Not her best by any means. I finally gave up on it at Chapter 11. Just didn't hold my interst.

Great Book

This book was great. The story line was very interesting and captivating. I truly enjoy how the author describes the different locations in both Europe and the US.

"Sex-starved old fool"

Wow, 400 pages that goes by incredibly fast. The plot is very absorbing and I really like the touch of French throughout the book (foods, places, etc.) I agree that Danielle never ceases to "remind" readers of certain events in a repetitive manner. I even saw one coming as I read lol. Seriously though, it was touching to see Sasha Suvery handle the hurdles in her life. I'm not all too convinced that her love romance with Liam Allison is true to life though. It did seem like she took him back many times throughout the story; especially after the way he chose to leave *rollseyes* I suppose Sasha was a "sex-starved old fool" lol. Some of the material had me cracking up too!! Especially when Eugenie, "looked like she'd been hit over the head with a poker." LOL! Impossible is a great read for all for sheer pleasure if nothing else. I also liked how Danielle dropped in the reference to Sunset in St. Tropez. Enjoy!!

An amazing book "Impossible"

Impossible The big question in this novel by Danielle Steel is, if it's possible our impossible? They have a connection. There's some kind of energy between them. Sasha is a famous and a high-powered gallery owner. Liam's just a weakly artist. Sasha had been married to an amazing man, but he suddenly died because of a heart attack and after 25 years of marriage, she and her two adult children, Tatianna and Xavier were alone. She never thought she could be happy again, but Liam showed her the opposite. She starts as his art dealer and she end up as the love of his life. But their love and passion weren't easy. Xavier is Liam's friend and has been for a long time, but for Tatianna is it harder to accept that her mother is together with Liam. When you read the book you jump between hope and tears, happiness and sadness, despair and love and I really liked it because it's an amazing love story. This was the first book, I've read by Danielle Steel, but I'm looking forward to read more books by her. By Caroline

She is 1 of best authors around I think. The characters were so real to me. She always makes me cry and laugh.

No Surprises, but Like Visiting an Old Friend

After 63 books you kind of know what to expect from an author. And in this book you will not be dissappointed. In fact, if you're an experienced DS reader, you can probably guess the plot. There's the established, kind of dull, work-a-holic, tradition bound 48 year old Sasha. She meets up with the wild and crazy, impulsive, but of course extremely talented artist, the 39 year old Liam. The plot is less of a plot than a character study of these two people. There's passion, there's keeping this scandalous relationship secret from his wife, her grown kids, and her gallery customers. Is this the world's best novel, nope. Is it even DS's best, probably not. It's one of those books that if you're a DS fan you'll enjoy. If you're not one of her fans, this wouldn't be a bad place to start.
