Great for the basics

I bought this book exactly for the title. I just got my new camera and laptop and wanted to immediately get in and start making movies, and that's what Kevin Harreld provided, instant gratification! I made my first epic a 5 minute "day in the life of my dog" in just a few hours, with audio, titles, transitions, and sound effects. The instructiions were wonderful and the book was well illustrated. The only negatives would be that some of those illustrations are very small. I also would have liked to have some further instructions on correcting errors, when it's too late to use the "undo" function. Other than that, I think if you want the easiest way to get started and not be bogged down with technically "heavy" instruction I would highly recommend this book.
