Growing up in rural Switzerland on a farm, my favorite toys were puppies, kittens, and piglets. I used to wake up to the choir of the birds and sung to the deer by the forest in the evening My favorite book as a child was Bambi. and it became a lifelong dream for me to write about animals for children.

This book made that dream come true. I loved writing and illustrating it. I hope you'll have fun reading it.
