Imagine That!

If I'd had my way, I'd have loved to gather all of you, my precious grandchildren, around me, and tell you these stories in person. But I'm a practical old lady - living through the Great Depression and World War II made a lot of us of my generation that way. So I knew the opportunity to assemble such a widely dispersed and ever-growing population was simply never going to happen in my lifetime. So I wrote the stories down, and put them in a book. And here it is, offered in the hope that, amidst all the tumult of life, you will make time to read the stories and look at the pictures and, in them, to discover that you are a child adrift amidst a constellation of wonders.
