The digital revolution has made digitized information easy to capture, process, store, distribute, and transmit all kinds of digitized image data. The significant progress in computing and related technologies and their ever expanding usage in different walks of life. Large amount of data of diverse characteristics continue to be collected and stored in databases. It became an unavoidable activity in our day to day life, Medical aspect of this isn't untouched Enormous medical image data is collected from different medical health centers. We need an effective fast-growing application to store, process, visualize, analyze and register such a huge amount of data. Data mining is an attempt to make sense of the information explosion embedded in the large volume of data which is heterogeneous and complex in nature. It consists of many more frameworks to analyze future prediction and decision making. The increase in number of images and Image database has necessitated the need of image mining technique which is an evolutionary approach of data mining to extract previously unknown information hidden in the images.
