This book has been written in order to proceed with my grieving process over the loss of my husband, Charles, at age 51. It comes from the heart, it is sad, funny, ironic, gloomy, with twists and turns depending upon feelings of the day. I have endeavored to express feelings that each new widow (or widower) will feel as going through those first months of widowhood. Perhaps in some way, what I have written will encourage others to continue on the road of grief until there can again be joy and love, peace and activity and accomplishment. I pray for all who are in this position; there is none other like it, but grief does not have to end it all, but is merely a different path through life. Praise God! for this is His gift to me.
