Teach kids how big the world is. How rich and full of color/culture it is. Do not allow our children to think their culture/history is tied to just a neighborhood or area of town/city.
It has always bothered me that we go from learning our colors, to labeling people as colors.
Losing so much culture, tradition and connection to the world beyond our neighborhood.
We are all so much more than a color. After all...Black and white only make gray...
