He handles the Vampire's Feast, a one-eyedmonster and the Treacherous Tower with tremendous bravado. That is, until he finds himself taken by surprise...
What a perfect Halloween book! It manages to capture all the horror and gag-factor of the perfect haunted house with clever, sing-song rhymes and gorgeous illustrations.

I bought this book for my daughter when she was almost 4. She adores this book. She love the rhymes, the repetition and the bright intricate pictures. There is enough repetition to have kids love it, but not so much to bore the adult that is reading it.
kids loved it!

Read this book to my 2nd and 3rd graders. They were transfixed by the illustrations. Subsequent readings led them to join in some of the rhymes. We loved it!

Really cute and creepy. Excellent read aloud esp at Halloween. My son loves all the eyeballs. Just yucky enough to entertain, not at all nightmare provoking. Great gift fory any October birthday.
