An instant favorite

I shipped this book directly to my 3 year old nephew for his birthday. My sister reports that he insists on having it read to him multiple times a night. He loves it!

One of my 5-year-old niece's favorites!

I found this book last year for my niece, who was 4 years old at the time. It quickly became one of her favorites, and mine as well. It's not your average (sometimes boring) story, as it adds some pretty witty humor and surprises along the way. My niece chooses this book above others quite often, and we always have to read it at least 2 times (if not more) before she's ready to move on to another book. I rarely write reviews, but I was searching for other books by this author because we enjoyed this one so much, and I decided this was a great testimony in itself!

Adorable and fun

For people who aren't a fan of reading "Pat the Bunny" or other nauseatingly sweet children's books, "I'm Going to Eat You" is a great choice. The rhythm of the book makes it fun to read, and the art is fantastic in a noir style - not scary at all. The pop-ups are very stable and secure, and have lasted quite a few readings with an over-enthusiastic toddler flipping them - a MAJOR issue with pop-ups. Overall, we just adore this book. Everytime we pull it out, my child scrunches up his face and says in a monster voice, "I'm going to eat you!"

Kids Love It

This book is the first chosen by my nieces and nephews to be read aloud. I don't know of a better review than that of 5 children under the age of 6. It also makes a great gift.

My son gets a kick out of this book

My son is two years old and he really enjoys this book. The story line is fun and so are the pop ups on each page. He gets a big kick out of it and it makes him laugh.
