I love this little book. Gave it to my sister-in-law who was going through cancer and treatments. Unfortunately, she did not survive the cancer, but the little book stayed with her on her journey to Heaven.
Highly recommend this book

My son was diagnosed with a brain tumor (medulloblastoma) in April 2008. His teacher bought this book and read it to his class during times when he was absent due to chemotheraphy. She gave us a copy of the book for Christmas and both my son (age 6) and daughter (age 3) love it. It's easy to understand, touches on many of the types of medical interventions that children with cancer go through and uses humor to help soften some of the difficulties that children face.
Perfect for Kids and Adults

I stumbled across this book at my child's hospital. It is the perfect teaching element for kids who want to know about a friend who has cancer and has to spend a lot of time at the hospital, has no hair, etc. My son has cancer (neuroblastoma) and he likes it, too, because he can relate to the character in the book. His Elementary school bought one for each classroom and the teachers read it to all the kids on the same day. It's a great book.
