After the Zone Troopers finally rid planet Earth of the Zetan refugees and the Tuvok drug zombies, soon after, another group of mother ships arrive with the refugee Nagoths. The Earthlings turn away the Nagoths who depart. Several months later, one passenger Nagoth reentry vehicles begin to turn up. The Nagoth passengers are found elsewhere but all of them are found dead with identical head injuries. Troopers Moses Garret and his wife Jeanie Culpepper are assigned to investigate.
