II CHRONICLES OF GOOD WILL HOME 1990 - 2012 II CHRONICLES OF GOOD WILL HOME 1990 - 2012 is the record of the demise of the wonderful Good Will Home in Hinckley, Maine. After the deaths of the Founder George Walter Hinckley and his son Walter Palmer Hinckley, the Board of Directors, changed the mission of Good Will from providing a home and an education for children to an expensive prep school and they failed disastrously. The alumni attempted to return to the true mission of preventive childcare for children in need of a home but again scrupulous Directors, staff and some alumni again changed the mission to government reform and treatment programs. The Governor, legislature, Attorney General, traitorous alumni, and a host of others ignored the years of designated contributions and the heritage and great contributions of Good Will to the State of Maine. They also failed miserably until the doors closed and parts of the campus were sold. The loyal opposition was ignored by all as were the local citizens and contributors who opposed the abuse of this grand community of homes for children.
