If you take a mouse to school, he'll ask you for your lunchbox. When you give him your lunchbox, he'll want a sandwich. Then he'll need a notebook and some pencils. The famous mouse from the New York Times #1 best-selling If You Take a Mouse to the Movies and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is back in time for the first day of school. Besides doing a little math and spelling a word or two, Mouse creates chaos with a messy science experiment, builds a little mouse house for himself out of blocks, and writes his very own first book. It's never been more fun to go to school!
My son absolutely loves the mouse booms. Since starting kindergarten we've added this to our collection.

My daughter (2 years old) loves this book. It's funny, cute and has wonderful pictures. It was so great she even fell asleep with it (a first). All of Laura Numeroff's books are worth adding to your collection.
I know this book by heart...

My seventeen-month old son will search through his vast library to find this book (and the others in this series), protesting when I try to compromise with another selection. He loves the story, knows when to turn the page (which is no longer necessary, as I can recite them all from memory) and will accept no subsitute. I even tried burying the books away so that I could read something new to him, but he dug them out, carried them down the stairs and insisted I drop everything to recall what are apparently his favorite stories.
he will ask you

This is a nice book to read to young kids. This is mostly like If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. It is about when you take a mouse to school. He will ask for all school supplies.(like a lunch box)
That demanding mouse is back for another adventure!

I bought this for my soon to be three year old daughter because she loves the other books in this series so much (if you give a mouse a cookie, a pig a pancake, etc.). I was glad to see mouse going to school. I am currently trying to warm my daughter up to the idea of attending a preschool. Thanks to mouse and his human boy friend school looks like a fun place to be. The boy in this story reminds me somewhat of myself. Always trying to satisfy the insatiable demands of a mouse or in my case the demands of a preschooler. Parents and kids will enjoy reading this book together. A great addition to the series.
