Love this book

I ❤ the fact that this book was all intact. My grandson loves all of the "If you give...books". He loves hearing about the different things the animals do just by having a party or eating a cookie etc. His Papa & I read these books to him then he reads them to us, he's only 3 but it's still cute. Good book to wind down before bed. Only thingbis he wants it read again & again. 😊 it's a well loved book.

A never ending cycle

I loved this book, this was the first If You Give... book I bought for my son and he loves it too. Following this cute pig in story is tons of fun, you decorate the house, and you put on your party dress and call to invite your friends over. Not only is it a good story but there is wonderful illustration and you get to see all the other characters of the If You Give... books. This is a wonderful book, after reading this one to my son I went and bought other If You Give... books.

Livin High on the Hog?

Living high on the hog. This brings new meaning to those words and that's a good thing. It's not the "gimme gimme" attitude and materialistic lifestyle that makes this little piggy happy, oh no. It's just enjoying life by creating happiness in everything you do while remembering that sharing your heart with others doubles the fun! IF YOU GIVE A PIG A PARTY

This book is right up there with Laura Numeroff's Original series of If you give...A Pig a Pancake; A Moose a Muffin; and A Mouse a Cookie which I have previously purchased for my older grandchildrem and they have now out-grown. "If you Give a Pig A Party" was purchased for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who loves it! I particularly, love the full circle of the events leading up to the party, finding the friends, then asking for balloons to decorate the blanket fort at the end...when the party finally can happen Karen Fisher

Just as cute as her others...

Darling book! My almost 3 year old loves it. It is creative and the illustrations are very cute. There is also a page where the animals hide and it is great to quiz your kids and have them try to find them. This book is probably my favorite from her series.

Just as good as the others

This book lives up to the same standards as the other "If You Give . . ." books. If you love the moose and mouse characters from the other books, you'll be happy to know that they make appearances in this book as well. As always the illustrations in this book are adorable. My two year old and I love the page where all of the animals play hide and seek. She likes trying to find the animals over and over again in the backyard. Any one to six year old would love this book. A good addition to your book collection!
