Delaney Grace Munroe is just your typical, everyday, 16 year old girl who wants nothing but a normal life. It finally seems like she's getting what she wished, until disaster strikes her family. While coming back from the train station, her family gets into a horrible accident which ends up costing them their lives. Horrified and heart broken, Delaney is forced to move into a foster home in Texas, which means separating from her best friend, Cole, who she has known since the first grade, and separating from the life that she's learn to live. Allison Howard was Delaney's mothers roomate in college. When she hears about the incident, she decides to take Delaney under her wing and becomes her new guardian. She has 10 kids herself, all boys. Now it's up to Delaney to go into survival mode and overcome all the chaos that the super annoying but super attractive Howard boys bring her.
