After a messy affair threatened her career as a publicist and ruined her self-esteem, Stephanie Moore swore off mixing business with pleasure. But when her work as the public relations manager for Pause for Men day spa brought her up close and personal with a sexy photographer, Stephanie was torn. She'd vowed never to mess with a married man again. And yet, her powerful attraction to Tony Washington, who she suspected was wed, had her rethinking her newfound scruples. Should she put the past behind her and enjoy the loving interest of her handsome, hardworking, new beau? Stephanie would need the advice of her Pause for Men partners to help her sort out her moral dilemma.
Ok folks Donna Hill has done it again, the series continues with the four friends this story concentrates mainly on Stephanie and Tony. We discover why Stephanie is the way she is when it comes to men and relationships. We see how the others are getting along with their beaus. I admit I found myself more sympathetic to Stephanie in this book whilst in the others I did not feel sorry for her having been involved with a married man before. Well worth reading but read the other 2 first.

Donna Hill has done it again in her novel "If I Were Your Woman". She told a very explosive story of being able to allow yourself to fall in love. She had some real characters that capture and keep your attention from start to finish. She taught you how to never give up when looking for love. Wonderfully written and told. Thanks for the great work Donna!!!!

The "Pause For Men" series keeps getting better and better. Like the previous novels, I couldn't put this novel down. I like how Barbara, Ann Marie, Stephanie, and Elizabeth are there for each other through good times and bad. Stephanie's new friend Terri has a boyfriend named Michael Townsend..is he the same Michael as Barbara's ex? Ron, Tony, Wil, and Ron's friend Aziz (I can't remember his first name), are fine brothers by me although Tony should have told Stephanie about his daughter Joy when things got serious between him and Stephanie. This novel was so good, and I can't wait for the final installment of the goings on at the Pause For Men health spa.
Stephanie's Awakening!

This story mainly about Stephanie explains why she chose the wrong men in her life and felt she didn't deserve to be treated better. Her friends come through for her and of course we learn more about how the other ladies new relationships are working out. Stephanie gets the answers to some deep questions that have haunted her all her life and comes out a winner at the end. Another great story about the 'Pause For Men' partners.
