A rival of Belinda Zaragoza's Engineering Company outbids her by one dollar, putting her retirement and travel plans on hiatus. Instead of brooding, she travels to her hometown, Dorado, on the Fourth of July weekend. With a master key that she stole when she was in high school, she enters the shuttered historic building.
